Project Description
Rotary Club of Dharan Foothills collaborated with the Department of Pathology, BPKIHS, in a Blood Donation Program conceptualized by the Association of Clinical Pathologists Nepal on the occasion of International Pathology Day on 12th November 2025. The primary purpose was to promote voluntary blood donation and strengthen the hospital’s blood supply to support emergency care, surgeries, oncology services, and routine transfusion needs. The program also aimed to raise awareness about the essential role of pathology in diagnosis, patient management, and overall healthcare. The project will directly benefit patients who rely on blood transfusions for treatment and life-saving interventions. Indirectly, it benefits their families, the hospital community, and future emergency cases supported by an improved blood reserve.
