Hike for Heart Health

On the occasion of World Heart Day 2025, Nepal Heart Foundation – Sunsari District, Interact District 3292 Zone 1, Mahila Ekta Manch Nepal, KHDC, Rotary Club of Dharan, Rotary Club of Dharan Ghopa, and Rotary Club of Dharan Foothills jointly organized a community hike to promote cardiovascular health. The hike, held on 27th September 2025, began from Singhadevi Chowk and passed through notable local landmarks before concluding at Rotary Sadan. The program saw enthusiastic participation from young Interactors, aligning with this year’s theme “Don’t Miss a Beat”. Their active involvement highlighted the importance of physical activity and heart awareness at a young age. If young people are aware of the importance of a healthy heart, it creates a positive ripple effect in the community, as they can influence and counsel their families to adopt healthier habits.
